Premonitions

I can not remember any premonition that I have had myself. I do remember my mom telling me about a premonition she had when her dad, my grandpa died. Her premonition happened after a phone call she received on a beautiful summer morning. It was Tuesday morning about 8:10 on June 24th. She answered the phone and it was a woman's voice; that woman had a quick message of "Jan, can you come to your mothers house, she needs you." After hanging up the phone, my mom had a premonition that her father had a problem with his heart and maybe she needed to take my grandma to the hospital to see my grandpa. He did have quadruple bypass surgery about two years earlier and because of this, the thought that he could have had a fatal heart attack did not even cross my mom's or grandma's mind. Also, it was a beautiful, sunny day with blue skies and birds singing... Death did not fit into this day at all. However, when she reached the door at my grandma's house, she was greeted by a woman coroner who told her that her father, my grandpa, had died of a fatal heart attack while taking his morning walk on the golf course they lived on. It was almost surreal that on this beautiful morning something so horrible could happen... How could the whole world not stop for this awful moment in time? The coroner said my grandpa was most likely gone before he hit the ground. A cut on his nose and the way his blood coagulated on it gave her assurance of that information. Furthermore, my mom told me about something amazing that happened about two days after this tragedy. A person who worked with my dad was talking at work about how one of his neighbors found a man on Capitol City Golf Course lying on the ground and called 911. My dad told him that the man being described was his father in law! The man reassured my dad that the paramedics worked on my grandpa for about 15 minutes and they did everything they could to try and revive him. Just knowing that people tried to help him made my mom and our whole family feel better. I never got to meet my grandpa since unfortunately, this tragedy occurred on June 24th, 1986
